My First Book!
About Me
My love for children books started as a toddler. My mother would bring me to the library and let me choose as many children’s books as I could carry to the check out counter. I’d have them piled to my chin. As she read to me while I sat on her lap we would point at the drawings together and smile. I can still see my favorite books in my mind 40 years later. My love for books, drawing, writing, and making children smile grew into a dream of creating my very own children’s books. I want children to be able to experience the same joy and love I felt while reading books with my mother. I hope my books are able to do this for every person who reads them.

As a child my parents would tell my siblings and me bedtime stories they made up. They would do this most nights with the same characters. That’s how I fell in love with storytelling.
